Tonight’s shoot was over an almost complete new layout with 4 out of the 6 stands being changed. The layout has a good mix of hard & easy targets with something to suit everyone.

Thursday was the 3rd round of the league and at this point I would normally classify everybody into their different groups, but I have decided to hold off for another week to get a better picture on where to create the split in the scores.

Thursday was the second round of our 16 week summer league and with your 12 best scores being used for you final score, people that haven’t participated as of yet are making it harder on themselves to obtain a high score. The course is very well laid out and worthy of any Leinster League course, a good mix of easy and hard.

Here we go again…..the start of the 2014 Summer League! It’s hard to believe, it only seems like yesterday that the Leinster League was starting. The club did very well this year in the Leinster League. We came 5th overall, and a number of club members had wins in their respective classes.

The turnout from all our members was extraordinary & hopefully we will carry that with continued support throughout the rest of the year. But getting back to the Summer League as with last year the League will be held over 16 weeks every Thursday evening starting at 6pm.

While the prize end is only open to Club members, all non-Club members are welcome to participate for birds only.

• Leinster league 23rd of March possibly held over 2 days but has yet to be decided
• Summer league start on the 22nd of May to the 28th of August over 16 weeks and your 12 best scores counting and high gun is on clays broken.
• We have a CSI shoot on the 31st of August it’s a 50 bird
• The team league will start on the 7th of September and run until the 9th of November. Its 10 weeks with your 7 best scores counting
• On the 23rd of November there will be a game shoot format to be decided
• The 7th of December will be the Christmas shoot

On the 24th of November the Club will hold a 70 bird shoot open to all Countryside Alliance members. Entry fee is €25 with €5 going to the prize fund. All welcome.
