Club AGM 02-12-08

  1. Re-cap of the 2008 calendar.
    We started the meeting with a quick re-cap of the 2008 calendar.
  2. Club Finances
    Unfortunately the club Treasurer could not attend so a statement of the accounts was not handed out. But the total for the monies held by the Club was read out and this was approved.
  3. Club Person of the Year
    It was decided to continue with the current setup for Club person of the year. One prizes based on performance throughout the year and one based on a secret ballet.
  4. Shoots 2009 Calendar
    The calendar for 2009 was discussed. The club will host the first round of the Leinster League on the 1st of February. The club is also in the ICPSA shoot calendar to hold two 100 bird registered shoots. First on the 10th May and the second on the 5th of July. The Louth League will be held again this year with Ardee's round being held on the 20th September.
  5. Summer League
    It was decided to continue with the summer league in its current form for the first round, with a possible change to the second round following a committee meeting. A new prize is to be introduced for the best new comer.
  6. Memberships
    Members were reminded that the Membership fees for 2009 were now due and that these must be paid before participating in the Leinster League shoots. The current membership fee still stands. It was decided to place an add in the local paper in an effort to attract new members.

  8. Ground Setup Committee
    A was decided that the Club needed a group of people who's job it is to be responsible for the setup of all shoots.This committee can call upon Club members to help out if required.
